Reta Melissa Simorangkir
Reta Melissa Simorangkir leads IgnitEd's programs and partnerships. She blends Indonesian classroom realities with Australian early-years practice so training stays practical, inclusive, and evidence-informed. Reta holds a Bachelor of Education (Indonesia) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Melbourne).
With nine years' experience (three in Australian early childhood and six in Indonesian preschool and primary settings) Reta has taught, mentored, and consulted across varied contexts. At IgnitEd she leads curriculum design, teacher professional learning, and school partnerships, and serves as Product Lead for the pilot school software.
Reta also brings a creative edge. She loves music and art; she composed two school jingles, created a basic music module for primary-age learners, and teaches art. She has presented at community events including The Couch and Salvation Army x Melbourne Council.
